Bring your own bucket and shovel and head for the beach of your choice. The Lake Huron Shoreline has a variety of beaches--all unsupervised--to visit and explore, or to just soak up some sun and catch up on some reading. Pack a cooler full of drinks and snacks and head for the water. From young children to teenagers to grandparents, there's a beach here to suit everyone! Start an after-dinner family tradition: pick up ice cream cones at a local store and head to the shore to watch the sunset. No matter which beach you choose, the sunsets are glorious from all of them!

Please note: Dogs are not allowed on most beaches for sanitary reasons (step in it once and you'll know why!). MacGregor Point Provincial Park has a "dog-friendly" beach area for your pooch to romp and play. Kincardine beaches also permit your pooch to play- but please abide by By-Law signs that remind you to 'stoop and scoop'!
